Come on, give me the chills

Thoughts about changing, life, and whatever comes to mind.

  • the first time

There’s a beautiful italian song called “Costruire” (building) that talks about the first times you have in life.

First kiss, first audition, first job.
And then, with a sensibility that only a great artist would have it adds how this is the beginning, then there’s the rest, the day after day, and it’s all about building.

    Building your life upon.
The first time is surely more spectacular, it has more tension, because of expectations and so on.
But the hard part it’s the rest of your life.
Beginning, after all, is the first step.

  • the tension and the spark

The tension is needed when you want to accomplish something. It enables the ignition, the spark.

Without tension, there won’t be any spark.
I personally often fear the tension because it’s so powerful that it can bring you down, but it’s a required element to go forth, to change, to evolve.

  • less is more, at least for me

Having less projects to do means more time, more presence, more actually productivity.

It is hard do reject new things, ideas and so one, it is our duty to learn how to do this properly. Without being harsh and wholeheartedly.

  • time passes and we didn’t know

    Time has passed, we grew.

Our relationship has grown with us and we didn’t notice.
It’s always the same thing: We go too fast, we don’t appreciate every single moment.

    We need to slow down.
I’m not talking about becoming idle, I’m talking about living 100% of life without thinking at the past or the future.
