“You don’t dress like you used to”. These words might come out when talking about how you were dressing when you were single.

Your wife might even think this. Dressing was a form of love, get laid, or even a form of trying to get some more attention. To her this was a way to get only her eyes. You did it only for her, and it was true.

Now you do the small things that aren’t noticeable by the eyes, and it seems that “you don’t care anymore”, but in both cases it was all in the eyes, and in the attention to read the details.
