0-sum days

I recently discovered the concept of 0-sum days: days in which you don’t do anything of what you planned.
Think of it of days where you don’t workout properly, you don’t follow your diet, etc etc.

The idea, though, is not to have a perfect day with a perfect workout, but to avoid doing nothing.
If you do a smaller workout, then you’re not having a 0-sum day, but a productive one.

To be honest, this way of approaching the small foundational aspects in life (diet, workout, reading, whatever good habit you have), is interesting because it allows you to keep the habit alive without feeling overwhelmed.

Also, if you can choose a smaller dose of your habit that’s still effective then you can also skip that feeling that the day was unproductive.
