  • what to do with a home?

These days we are searching for a new home and it seems so difficult.
not finding it, but finding the right balance between place, amenities, commodities.

It’s like an equation that you’re not sure of the result.
Choosing a home seems like an impossible result but I don’t give up, and we’ll surely learn along the way what is best

  • mental time

I feel like the most valuable thing we should protect is our mental time.

Judgement comes from it, good advices come from it.

Good quality mental time is what makes a difference when you’re in need but it’s a hard thing to protect.

  • the one thing I’ve learned from starting a business is that competition is not the way to go

I sell deodorants as a side job, and I mostly sell it to stores, physical or online stores.

I’ve see many different people, people who didn’t pay for so little, people who were always anxious to get the products, people who would weight them.

But to me, competition has been the thing that struck me so much.
I’ve seen people accepting doing an unfavourable discount.
I’ve seen people opening stores in front of each others.

How can this competition be sane and sound? How could you think even for a split second that this way you would’ve won?

Competition is ok when we talk about innovation, not when we talk about selling the same thing on the same street.

It deep red ocean, and you’re gonna fail.

In fact, this made me realize that competition shouldn’t be seen from a naive perspective.
Competition is not harsh, when it is, then you’re working on the wrong side of the competition, the one where you lose your mind.

  • why do we jump instead of dancing, while we are in a disco?

If you are in a disco club chances are you’ll see some skilled people dancing, making sensual moves.

They are engaging and they sure keep your attention up.

Then, on the other side, you might also see a small group of people jumping on the same music/song.

Why we do this? Jumping, at least for me, is the result of both happiness and friendship. It’s a way of telling your friends that you care about them, and that this moment is important for you, even if it will get lost in time.

Dancing on the other way is something you do for yourself or to attract others. It’s a different game.

Whenever I saw some people jumping I feel happy for them because they are enjoying life in a beautiful positive way (unless they’re totally drunk).

That’s how life should be lived, jumping with your friends.

  • the devil in you

The devil in you says that you should catch the moment.

It says that you have all the good reasons to do this.

The devil in you says that you’re right, that you should be following your heart.

The devil in you uses warm words to describe a dark thought. It calms you by using your mind against you.

The devil in you prefers the shortcut, the instant solution, but the Beauty in life is often hidden in the hard work, in the passion, in the dedication.

Words that the devil in you won’t even use.
