  • 2 days of empty

I took 2 days of pause from writing.
I felt guilty but I must admit that those were two days where I was sick and needed to rest.

Pushing yourself is fine, but so it is listening to your body and mind needs.
    Let’s start again 😉

  • rhythm

Don’t lose rhythm. It’s your way to live every second of your life

  • dealing with illness

Whenever we are ill we feel powerless.
that is true, in fact we have much less power and energy, but we can still manage to do something.

My personal belief is that we all need both to rest and to force ourselves to do more.
Because there are times when resting is required and there are times when we should not listen to the lazy voice inside our heads.

  • what will make you “obsolete”?

Today the CEO of the company I work for posted on my Linkedin an article of AT&T CEO saying that if you don’t learn 5 hours/week then you’ll become obsolete.

On a side note I remember reading an article from David@Basecamp saying that the best advice he got from Jeff Bezos is to invest in things that won’t change.

So, given this, what doesn’t change in the world?
Human connection. That will always be a requisite.
Happiness, being comfortable with the situation you’re in.
Those too are things that won’t change.

Thinking about the things that don’t change is important because it allows you to focus on the deepest desire of the human heart.

  • quality time is hard

To obtain quality time you have to say no to yourself a million times a day.
You have to reject any input your mind will give you to digress and distract.
