Come on, give me the chills

Thoughts about changing, life, and whatever comes to mind.

  • sick

I bet you’ve been ill from time to time.

Being sick doesn’t help you move forward and there are a few things you can do to cope with that.

You either accept it and relax, or ignore it and continue like nothing’s happened.
But sickness is an alarm that tells your body that you need to relax, it’s the way the body tells you to calm down.

    What will you do?

These days I am more into natural remedies, they are awesome, they are great, but they have the downside of being slow to be effective.

Chemical remedies on the other hand are faster and more effective, but might have some side effects that you don’t know when you take them.

    Which one would you choose?

We always find a crossroad, but what we will do is up to us.
Personally I found out that there’s no written answer.
While I might prefer use natural remedies it’s not I won’t use chemical remedies if needed.
Why? Because it’s a rule, not a dogma and should be weighted accordingly.

  • breath and sugar

Two things I want to improve this month, and they have both some connection with my past.

What I’d like to improve is the overall intake of sugar during this october and learn how to breathe more during the day.

The reasons are quite simple. Sugar is not healthy and we all breathe too less 🙂

  • the things we forget

Today while we were coming back I got an idea for an article to write here.

It was s great topic but I didn’t note it, thinking “I will eventually remember”.

Now I wanted to use some spare time to write but guess what? I can’t recall the topic.

Some people say that when you forget things it’s because you don’t care about it, but I think it’s a different matter.

One thing might be important, even emotionally relevant, but if you don’t have enough anchors to recall it (an anchor being a constant input about the topic/thing or just a fixation of any time caused even by urgency) then you might forget.

Next time it’s better if I write it down 🙂

  • mesmerize

Nothing compares to the face of wonder when you see the impossible

  • the wonder

Today I saw my small brother take an airplane for the first time in his life. Before arriving at the airport he was super excited, then right before departing he was worried and in tension.

After a while in the airplane he was calm again.
This is the same for everyone. When we do something new we are excited until we do it, right before doing it we are scared, then we are happy.

    It’s common, it’s human and it’s beautiful.
Sometimes when I hear people worrying so much about what they have to do out of the comfort zone I think of these 3 steps and say to myself “they’ll get there”.
But sometimes the fear is to much to handle and it’s able to block you completely.

In those times I always hope they will remember their childhood, when everything new was something they wanted, they feared it and eventually found a way to did it anyway.
