Come on, give me the chills

Thoughts about changing, life, and whatever comes to mind.

  • it’s not the money

Yeah, money will make you big, but it’s life that will challenge you.

Not your work, but your life.

  • you need some holidays

Didn’t we think about it once in a while?
We deserve some holidays, some break up from our daily work, to shine, to recharge, to get back in shape.Holidays to live our moments.

But why do we need them? We need them because we are exhausted, we don’t feel the need to do more. We are lost.

Lost in our world, in the day to day life that should be lived but it’s not.

What can we do to fix this? it’s probably part of how work is done today. We live by the idea of the free man, the man that can go in vacation whenever he wants, and that freedom comes with a price: being always on. Always reachable.

That’s the price in today technology and I don’t think it’s fair.
Yes I think we should deserve a more enteprenaurial ability to manage our life, but I also think we should protect it. Find new time instead of adding things to do.
Doing less, but with more presence.

  • it’ll take time

To do anything decently, it’ll take time.

More time then you though, less than you prepare for.

  • that little voice

The voice that tells you to dream is the same that tells you you’ll fail.

    And they are both lying.

  • you won’t ever be good enough

Being good at something is not a final goal. It’s a neverending story.

Each and everyday you will be better than the last, worse than the next. There is no shortcut, no way around.

But what if you listen to that voice in your head that says you can’t do it. That you don’t deserve this life?

I can’t do it, I quit. Those are the words.
    Words so blissed, so relaxing.
    Quitting. It’s easy isn’t it?

Easier to quit than to question, easier to leave that to stay and fight against yourself.
In some cases quitting is good, but that is determined by who’s talking.
Is that little voice in your head telling you to quit?
If that’s the case, please don’t.

Please stay. Stay in that borderline where we all fight for our life. Where we try to make sense of this world, learning each and every day a new step, a new move.

Each and everyday being joyful because we improved and sad because we didn’t improve enough.

Because in life there won’t ever be a good enoug for the goodness you can be and do. But it’s a struggle without struggle that deserve each minute of your life.

    Don’t quit. Don’t think you’re worthless. You’re not.
