It will happen one day.
Someone will shut at you.
Harsh words, maybe, and you will be left to wonder what to do.
Should you react? Should you stay silent?
Today it happened to me, and I kept calm.
It was hard because you feel the urge to reply, to say something, to change the situation.
But it’s not that easy.
If you did your work it may also happen that people are not shouting at you, but at a more broader situation they’re living.
A problem you’re part of.
You’re not the problem itself, but you take part in it, maybe not even actively, but you’re there and that is enough.
That pain gives voice to hatred, to rage.
That’s why you shouldn’t take it personally.
Because sometimes it’s not personal.
