There is good in the bad and bad in the good, but I can’t stop thinking that “destroying” an opponent is a good thing, even if only in a discussion.
I think that ridiculizing people is terrible, I think we should try for 1 month and remove from our life
- white lies
- lies
- complaints
- insult
- making fun of people
- being aggressive
our life would be totally different. Not because this is a zen view of the world but because all these things change you. They build a path a street for you to follow and it’s always easier to follow that street once you continue.
Because insulting, complaining, making fun of others (in a bad way) it’s blatlantly easy. Too easy. It’s the shortcut because it works, because it gets the job done for you.
The limit of this way of thinking is that it’s good only in the short term. There is often a price to pay, both in the way the relationship with the other person change and directly to yourself, because you accumulate bad behaviour, you build some kind of internal violence that can direct your actions in the future.
And what about the title of this post? We’re near the italian vote for changing our parlament, and many people are rooting for one side or another, few of them are actually discussing the contents to understand.
In the eyes of those who root for one side or the other the people can only be good or bad, stupid or intelligent, evil or smart and this is partly because of this.
